Re: Politics
353I mean.. I get it too. I can't visit Michigan without nearly being run off the road by a hiked-up truck asshole at least once. Doesn't happen that often in SE WI.

354No shit. I guess football is all that matters in Georgia, even if the subject is a brain-damaged hypocrite most famous as a failed trade.penningtron wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 11:35 am OH FFS...

We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.
Re: Politics
355Warnock has a slight edge currently, but that's with a Libertarian candidate sucking up 81,000 votes. A run off could be disastrous. blech.. I need a walk..Krev wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 11:43 am No shit. I guess football is all that matters in Georgia, even if the subject is a brain-damaged hypocrite most famous as a failed trade.
Re: Politics
356It's looking more and more like a Georgia runoff is going to determine balance of the Senate. Again. This assumes that the races for Arizona and Nevada stay as they are.penningtron wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 11:59 amWarnock has a slight edge currently, but that's with a Libertarian candidate sucking up 81,000 votes. 357I think the whole runoff thing in Georgia is to give the Republican a mulligan.

Re: Politics
358Georgian here. I think Warnock wins in a runoff. I think a lot of people turned out to vote for Governer Brian Kemp and just pulled the lever for Walker. I doubt he pulls that big of a turnout if it's just him and Warnock on the ballot. I REALLY like Warnock.penningtron wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 11:59 am Warnock has a slight edge currently, but that's with a Libertarian candidate sucking up 81,000 votes. Re: Politics
360Between that and Uvalde, I don’t know what it’s going to take. Now I kind of wish McConaughey ran for governor. It’s going to take a cult of personality or a major rebranding of Texas Democrats to get anywhere.penningtron wrote: Wed Nov 09, 2022 6:54 am Texas: remember when you were frozen in your living rooms for like a fuckin' week, nothing?
