Re: Supplement: CBD
2My wife and daughter both use it to help them sleep. I've tried it several times but it doesn't do shit to me. I still won't vote crap though. I know it helps people.
Re: Supplement: CBD
3CBD gives me headaches.
I avoid the jars at the dispensary that say anything other than "LOQ" under CBD. Just THC for me, thanks.

Re: Supplement: CBD
4I find that 1:1 THC and CBD helps me sleep. Pure THC not so much. I don't like being stoned.

5This is almost exactly my response.trey wrote: Mon Dec 05, 2022 7:20 pm My wife and daughter both use it to help them sleep. I've tried it several times but it doesn't do shit to me. I still won't vote crap though. I know it helps people.
Wife uses a CBD edible with just a touch of THC and she says it helps immensely with alleving pain and going to sleep.
I’ve tried it… in several forms and combinations… and it does not have the desired effect on me.
No vote.

Re: Supplement: CBD
6I’ll give it a NC. I always sleep well when I take it. There’s a full-spectrum brand that’s made here locally that I like. It’s 14.91mg CBD and 2.54mg THC, and they sell it at the grocery store. Not enough to get me high, but enough to take the edge off of a stressful day.
I was thinking about starting up a kratom thread, but I don’t want this place to look too trashy. I still rock the goblin.

7HoF-worthy, if indeed you were going for dry humour. Had me laughing like a drain.jfv wrote: Mon Dec 05, 2022 8:52 pm Wife uses a CBD edible with just a touch of THC and she says it helps immensely with alleving pain and going to sleep.

Re: Supplement: CBD
8I just started trying CBD oil on a whim about four weeks ago.
It instantly improved my general anxiety situation. Also improved my focus and ability to get in the zone somewhat and work on music for a couple hours after the kid goes to bed. I felt it left me a little depleted and reluctant to face the world in the morning, but I find that this is the case with any sort of body high, womb-like feeling – in my opinion it's all about getting the right thickness of skin, not too thin, not too thick, because you have to move in the world in the end. So now I am trying to dial it in on a daily basis, but it's definitely staying in the mix. It's a little tricky with diabetes too, as it can interact a bit with Metformin in some people and potentially make you run the risk of getting hypoglycemic (I am on nightly basal insulin and meds for type 2).
NOT CRAP

9I wasn’t attempting to be humorous, but upon reading this back, I can see how it could read as such.A_Man_Who_Tries wrote: Tue Dec 06, 2022 1:35 amHoF-worthy, if indeed you were going for dry humour. Re: Supplement: CBD
10I've found the effects of CBD to be subtle at best. I'd rather just micro-dose certain strains of THC or even psilocybin, even when the goal is to be somewhat functioning.
Harmless enough to be NC but I'm not convinced by it yet.
