564Fuck, man. One of the greatest musical innovators of the 20th century. I'll definitely spin Inventions this week. RIP.enframed wrote: Thu Dec 15, 2022 4:48 pm Manuel Gottsching

We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

565Well that fucking sucks. I loved his work.

Re: RIP v2 - still no cure for death
570I met him once in Aberdeen in 1990 in a lift. The u16 World Cup was in Scotland that year, and my dad worked on an oilrig in the north sea, the Tartan Alpha, which was one of the sister rigs of the Piper Alpha. He got tickets for one of Scotland’s matches through his work, and so my mum, brother and me went up to Aberdeen, and the Brazilian squad and officials were staying in the same hotel as us. IIRC he got in the lift with us after breakfast.Wood Goblin wrote:Pelé.
A god. He did things with a football that shouldn’t have been possible.
