Re: Duo: Toasters N’ Moose
2I sent this to a friend because he's way hipper/cooler than me about cringey stuff like this but first thing he said was "oh god why is 'taste the biscuit' going around again?" although he wasn't aware of the entire 1 hour video...
so again, I'm 10 years behind the curve
I'm not sure if it loses some of the charm or not but it looks like it's intentionally bad apparently and meant to be comedy in sort of a Spinal Tap/Hedwig & the Angry Inch opening scene sort of way. Looked at from that lens, it's a commendable performance?

3Yeah, same here. This somehow wasn’t on my radar. I saw the movie for the first time yesterday (mockumentary a la Spinal Tap). I have to admire their commitment to the project. I had “Taste the Biscuit” in my head all day yesterday.
Re: Duo: Toasters N’ Moose
4there's definitely a lot of Tim-n-Eric influence (or at least vibe) here that's for sure
I'm not sure if that makes it better or less good for me since it's a comedy bit.

5I watched the whole movie and it's never as funny as the folks who made it seem to think it is. Irwin Chusid could probably make up a very long playlist of real acts who are more interestingly bad. Meh.

6Some very, very good songs in there. The one about leaving the country for the big city almost made me shit myself.
