Anthem. My mom would play this song on piano when I was a kid. Sang it horribly, but was a gifted player.

Funny given that the other anthem is said to be so difficult to sing, that this one is equally difficult lmao. Spans over quite a wide range.

It's a nice touch how the song proceeds in the normal, rather optimistic key where you sing about "the dark past", and then it drops down a halfstep and begins to sound more somber where you sing about "the hope", then comes back up again.

Jazz Is Dead 016, the band that actually plays jazz, not the other guy.
