Bitch Magnet toured with a different drummer?

Yeah, on the Ben Hur tour, pretty much toward the end of the band. I recall seeing an article around that time talking about "changes in the band" (along with a photo that didn't match previous ones), and when I saw them the drumming wasn't the same at all. I can't absolutely verify this, but it wasn't the same level of energy I'd been expecting. Dunno the personnel list at the time, though. (Sooyoung was still there, of course.)

Really?

I saw them on the last tour and it was still Orestes playing...I find it hard to believe they'd have played without him since his drumming was pretty central.

Interesting though; there's so little info about them out there, but I know so many people who found their records to be pivotal. More-so than Slint's.

I could be wrong, of course. Maybe it just wasn't a good show for them--certainly the audience was sparse.

You're certainly right about the paucity of information about them, and I do wonder about the details.

Yeah; I'd love somebody to do a detailed article about them; their 2nd and 3rd records changed my thinking regarding music forever. My relationship with BM is like many people's relationship with Slint.
