13Agreed. Share some of those DeJohnette gems especially. Him, along with Williams on those late '60s Miles records, were kinda the original motorik drummers..

16If DeJohnette is on it the record is probably worth at least a spin but Joe Henderson's Multiple springs to mind, which I actually could have added to my "top 5" as well now that I think about it

17Actually the first few Earth Wind & Fire records, esp The Need of Love are bonkers fusion jams and Billy Paul's (of "Me & Mrs Jones" fame!) War of the Gods, both obv more soul/fusion/R&B but worth hearing I think
