Hah I thought this was gonna suck but it's kinda fun. I dig the accent.

Re: What are you listening to right now?
1794Awhile back I accidentally put a box of 7" records next to a space heater & lost my 45RPM copies of "Tom Sawyer" by Rush & a rendition of "Don't Blame Me" as sang by Lisa Kirk. Today I ordered replacements for both although the only copy of the Lisa Kirk version of the song on eBay was a 78RPM record. Anyway, this is the definitive version of this song to me.

1795checked to see if Elvis ever sang "Don't Blame Me" & got the inverse result instead; "Put the Blame on Me"

1796I have been putting on a few Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star tunes after stumbling upon it on Spotify. I mean...
"And the light, it burns your skin...in a language you don't understand."

1797Voice imitator -- Plaza
Australian band I've been sleeping on. Best newish Punk/Post-Punk/Noise/Rock album i've heard in a while.

1798Paul McCartney's Ram.
Realizing I'd never heard it, I took advantage of the digital world we live in, and wound up regretting every minute of it. Apparently this has had something of a critical reassessment in recent years, because Paul's juvenilia has apparently birthed a million horrible bedroom indie-pop horseshite imitators. Fuck that, this deserves all the hate it got. Even worse, if this wasn't bad enough, Paul remade it by ABSOLUTELY NOBODY'S request into a hardcore elevator-muzak version called Thrillington. Just dire, absolutely tragically dire.

1800The Who Sell Out
Has there ever been a band that sounded so different on their studio recordings than live? (not necessarily better or worse, just different?)
