They sent the wrong ones of course lol. A couple of the studio condensers. We'll see how they remedy it.

Their customer service was pretty helpful - I ordered a ribbon last month when the price was lowish and forgot about it - that never shipped. I got another couple when they were down to $20.

Msg’d customer service - they refunded me the mic from feb and sent me a tracking number for the other two. Not sure what I’ll get but they answer at least

Almost sounds like a viable way to get rid of rando mics for $27. See who returns them, and see who says "fuck it, it was $27. This mic I didn't order is worth $27."

We'll see what shows up to my house later today!

Good luck everyone. I wasn't able to order any this time around, but I feel bad for bringing it up if everyone ends up getting screwed on this order.

If anyone ends up with the multipattern FET condensers (I think the "2000"?) and doesn't want them and can't work out something with Monoprice, I'd be interested.

I received my 2 and they were both ribbons. Confirmed a friend received theirs too and theirs are also ribbons.

Haha - they offered that I could return them on my time, or I could keep them and pay the difference because they are completely out.

It's not a lot of money, but still. It's not my mistake. I shouldn't do leg work to correct it.

Whatever. I'll probably just pay them the extra dough and not bother with the headache.

I'd like to point out, the only reason they know is because I mentioned it. Asking for more money at that point is pretty poor form.
