Re: Gear talk: TALK ME OUT OF IT
271Ah good to know, I didn’t really look at their page but just repeated what the Vintage King guy said when I asked about it. Maybe dealers get singles. All good either way
The audacity of those things is great but they truly suck to cart around. Id argue that any price isn’t worth it because you can definitely end up with a permanent injury from getting one out of a vehicle. I know I know, but if this was like a 150w head and oversized 4x12 I wouldn’t say shit. The geometry of the super six wants to kill youjirbling rake wrote: Thu May 18, 2023 10:49 pm Another amp I don’t need. I think I’ve got the negatives worked out:

Negatives:
- a lot of replaced parts
- big
- loud
- could get similar amp in smaller package
- hours away
Positives:
- price
- big
- loud
- nice extras
The combo version is even worse, the VT-22.
Now there are two Super Sixes to be interested inmdc wrote: Fri May 19, 2023 9:43 am If anyone seriously wants one of those super 6s and feels like driving to Toronto, I'm pretty sure a dude from the other band in my practice space has one he wants to sell. It's been shoved in a corner for literally years. It has some solid Cancon pedigree as I'm pretty sure it was owned by the constantines.
This nails both how it feels to desire one of these, and the reality of it.Garth wrote: lol yeah there's a super six on local FB Mktplace that I keep putting a covetous & sleazy eye on every time it comes up...
Really hard to practically justify a big nasty loud amp any more...but the heart wants what the heart [wants].
