There's something I really like about the drummer who plays with PJ Harvey. Quite simplistic, but always perfect for the song. No I will not Google his name. Yes I will, it's Rob Ellis.

Has anyone mentioned Rick Allen yet?



He's not a great drummer, but only having one arm makes him an interesting one...









That and the fact that he's also an accomplished wife-beater. BUT HE ONLY HAS ONE ARM!

I'd hope they do...you know if they are playing with one or two drummers?

i don't know anything, except where and when.... they may not be touring, because the show's in vancouver, which is basically home

The drummer guy's name is John Wright, and yes, they always play stuff from Wrong. It's Catching Up is pretty much a dead cert; Oh No Bruno probably too.

This Story Must Be Told from Dance of the Headless Bourgoisie has to be my favourite, along with Joyful Reunion off 0+2=1.

Incidentally, there's an ep they recorded in Holland called In The Fishtank which is the four-man two-drummers Nomeansno that toured when Dance... came out. So if it's drumming you want, you might want that.

Nice to see them brought up on here. I could talk about Nomeansno all day. Maybe ah will.

I saw Bitch Magnet play on their last tour and Orestes was no longer in the band at that point. Sooyoung and Jon Fine were both still in the band. I *believe* that the new drummer was named Peter. The following year he ended up in Champaign, IL ( I was there for school) getting some sort of music degree. A friend of mine took drum lessons from him. He was not Orestes, but he was a very good drummer. Someone please correct me, but I think this guy also played drums in -Dis for a little while? Am I making that up?

A friend of mine has a live tape from a Bitch Magnet show in Europe. I believe it is the last show of the tour because after the last song you can hear them selling their guitars from the stage.
