Me and my significant other LOVE this show.
Awesome, they have my attention even when characters delve deep into business strange shit. I mean even when I'm not getting bits of the story.
It's the CHARACTERS.
Re: TV Show: Succession
32Mrs MSE and I both love it. We're halfway through the "Living+" episode. I felt like there were some moments in seasons 2 and 3 were they were....not shark-jumping, but kinda treading water? And I feel like both Tom and Greg's characters are a little over the top, they're just SO oafy and clueless, respectively. But those are my only complaints, otherwise it's terrific.
Re: TV Show: Succession
33Not crap but some episodse this season felt more aimless than usual. Also, the amusing novelty of some of the characters has worn off. However, the last (penultimate) episode was fantastic.

35A fun little potboiler, but some above-grade dialogue and decent performances don't elevate it much above Dallas....and I liked Dallas.

36You're right. If a little kind about the dialogue.zorg wrote: Tue May 30, 2023 2:23 am A fun little potboiler, but some above-grade dialogue and decent performances don't elevate it much above Dallas....and I liked Dallas.

38I tried for several episodes, but couldn't stand the dialogue. It's like an AI was asked to talk like assholes.

39I lost my ante for who took the CEO spot by once removed. Really wanted it to be Greg.
Re: TV Show: Succession
40I won that bet over here. Sister-in-law is obsessed by it so I saw the penultimate episode in full, having quit the show early in season 2. Could only have gone the one way tbf.
