Just loving a band called Autolux, lately.

They are at the Double Door on Wed. For the MBV fans, I guess, to oversimplify things.

I agree...I was really looking forward to seeing them there and then...BLECCCHHHHHHH. Their sound was horrible!

Album 'pretty good'.

Not great, but completely above-average noise-pop.

well, for a three peice. That drummer was amazing.
That guitarist was pushing so many pedals it made my little head spin.
He had an amazing control of the feedbacks and delays,fucking amazing.
Although, they have been pushing that e.p. which
makes up a portion of the full length for almost 6 years.
Those songs still kick ass. The demo was recorded on
an 8 track in their practice space and i think it sounds
better than the full length. check it out ....
Turnstile Blues has just a little bit more fuzz.
The best thing to come out of the ashes of Failure.

Autolux kind of rules, period.

This band brought down the house (figuratively) on Saturday night. They were so good, I didn't even have the heart to watch the Raveonettes afterward.

Made missing Nile worthwhile.
