Still waiting for straight house heat from John MacLean. I'm curious about everything he's done post-6FS, and I haven't heard all of it, but his tracks and mixes have never hit me in the sweet spot that house music does so well. "Can't Let Go" from Peach Melba comes pretty darned close.
I agree! The JM records are all...fine? I can appreciate that he was like "Fuck playing guitar, I'm into this other thing and I'm gonna have a go of it" - and has really kept with it!

Also, I've never heard this Peach Melba cut, but I am VERY MUCH DIGGING IT.

Back to 6FS - Pigeon reissue showed up a few days ago. Not their best by any means, but I still have a soft spot for it ("WHEN LARRY GETS HOME"). Hope this means the other records are due for reissue soon.
