For years I've thought these were the pawn shop guys.

Visiting my son this week. Drove up to Chicago from Louisville yesterday. He's a K-Pop fan, so tonight it's the Twice show. Tomorrow the Cubs. Saturday one of the museums and the Indiana Jones movie. Pity about the air quality, but I think I've figured out the parking gestalt, so I won't be driving around with a low-key dread, never knowing for sure that my car is going to be where I left it when I come back around the corner like my visit a couple of years ago.

Getting things done but need more sleep.

Yeah, that Jesse James dude is a massive asshole. He fucked around on Bullock, Then got married to and got divorced by NHRA Funny Car racer (and Patron Tequila heiress) Alexis DeJoria and fucked around on her too. He is truly a top notch dickhead.

Driving back to Kentucky from Chicago, my son and I stopped at a fast food place. It had been raining pretty hard and the parking lot was covered in standing water, so try as I might to dry them on the floormat, my feet were a little wet as I walked in. Near as I could tell, they had just finished mopping the floor with Dawn dishwashing liquid. I almost fell flat on my ass and I noticed others who came in afterward doing the same. No yellow "piso mojado" sign, just a mop leaning against the wall and a slick-as-fuck floor that had an appointment with some septuagenarian's hip as sure as eggs is eggs. No wonder I-65 is decorated with personal injury attorney billboards for 200 miles.
