Do you mean that people who hang out on social media don't have much else going on (that wouldn't be true of many of the responders to this tweet)? Or that people post instinctive hot takes without necessarily standing by them?

enframed wrote: Fri Aug 04, 2023 11:48 amAlso, what is "CW?" It feels like I have to be on Twitter (or pay attention to other social media) to know what that means. So I'm being left behind (actually leaving myself behind, happily) for what?
CW = content warning. Added it cause I sometimes (including this time) get profoundly depressed reading stuff like this . Although evidently it wasn't much help here lol

There's no way Trump is seeing the inside of a jail cell (or prison) as we know it. Something akin to house arrest or an elite penitentiary for old rich white dudes, but a prison cell? Highly doubtful. How would that even work concerning the Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012. Would his secret service protection inform his prison stay or would that somehow be revoked?

Prayers for a house fire or plane accident. Something that gives him moments of awareness before the light goes out.

Ok, so, maybe not *jail*, but you know he’s going to violate his terms of release. Already has. Judge is gonna have to do something to shut him up.

I have to admit that I will be at least a little amused when he finds out all of the republicans/former Trump team members that are witnesses against him and starts blurting their names out at campaign stops.

High probability that it will be by heart attack while playing golf (unfortunately).

My impression of people, as I near 44, is that they tend to behave predictably. There might be exceptions to the rule, layers to someone’s personality, unknowable aspects to anyone’s “self” . . . but in most cases, a lot of what you need to know about someone is there to behold within the first phase of getting acquainted. This is neither good nor bad, it just tends to be way things shake out.
