I'm talking about all those DVD ads in the 90s and 2000s that convinced everyone that copying movies was theft. Copyright infringement is not theft and has never been theft. It's not even a matter for criminal court. Now everybody's completely convinced that "intellectual property" is a real thing and people seem happy for it to be extended indefinitely. Intellectual "property" was only meant to be a limited license, not something you own like you own a house.

What I'm thinking now: screw all this having to face justice or perhaps not. Just have a heart attack and die already. Enough, enough of you.
