You might be barking up the wrong tree. If you really like the existing sound? This might be a little bit closer to what you seem to be saying. I'm sure an amp modeler would do the trick, but I don't need 5000 options and I'd prefer to avoid any kind of a screen or scrolling menu.
Nothing fancy. Gotta be cheap. I don't need dirt box / break-up, I'm just wondering if there's a less "direct" sound that's easy to get.

1503That said, it's really going to depend on just how sold you are on the core of the current sound. Kinda hard to tell from what was there.

1508Just before the pandemic I put together a smaller "b" rig w/ a couple small powered subs and really nice tops...but it's a little top-heavy for the usual pole mount on the subs...
...and I seriously considered this as a solution to lump around sand bangs to put on the subs.

Not always budget friendly, but it feels like you might be able to get buy with a little bit less than some folks.
