A Duncan 59 in the neck is a good combo with a SD in the bridge.

Parallel is the answer. And I don’t mean parallel with the other pickup. This will help virtually any neck humbucker.

I encourage everyone to try a humbucker wired so the coils are in parallel. Really cuts the mud and adds a lot of single coil type sparkle in the top end.
