I propose a social experiment. Everyone start overzealously waving their state flags. Not just boutique cutting board with the flag/baby onesie type stuff. At best it will be so absurd the nationalists will have to reflect a little, at worst it will add a little more noise to simmer down these stars and stripes boners a shade.
