Re: What are you thinking right this second?
1231I had never seen that but it's painfully true. Everyone in New Zealand knows you can't afford not to fux a dangerous dick with kuds around.
I get it and appreciate critical thinking in this arena but I also believe people, in general, should wear what they want as long as it isn't mocking or inauthentic. To me it sounds like it's not exactly kente cloth or brightly woven African fabrics you wanna rock, it's just a black and white dashiki. How about splitting the difference and sporting a caftan. I want a caftan big time. The ultimate in relaxed luxury.Dave N. wrote: Wed Sep 20, 2023 2:17 pm Is it appropriate for a white dude such as myself to wear a dashiki? Perhaps a tunic is more appropriately "white dude". There are some Byzantine and Coptic/Egyptian style tunics that have a bit of dashiki vibe...Dave N. wrote: Wed Sep 20, 2023 2:17 pm Is it appropriate for a white dude such as myself to wear a dashiki? I agree; $1234.56 is objectively a superior version of a ridiculous price.jirbling rake wrote: Wed Sep 20, 2023 4:24 pm $1,842.95 for a 1971 Fender Vibro Champ is ridiculous. There, I said it.

First season of 'Only Murders..' was pretty funny, but I got bored with it beyond that. I appreciate that he doesn't always feel the need to be on, the center of attention, etc.Wood Goblin wrote: Thu Sep 21, 2023 11:06 amHe used to be funny, up through at least Bowfinger.losthighway wrote: Wed Sep 20, 2023 8:14 pm Is it that Steve Martin is no longer funny, or just that he never was?
Some of the big pieces, though, like “King Tut,” were kinda dumb.
My wife and I have stuck with that show as after work comfort food, although it hasn't been great, just fine. The strangest take away for me is that Martin Short is a better actor than Steve Martin. Maybe I need to revisit The Jerk, I have found memories.penningtron wrote: Thu Sep 21, 2023 12:26 pmFirst season of 'Only Murders..' was pretty funny, but I got bored with it beyond that.
