Second this - seems like some people didn't 'get it' in terms of reading online, but personally loved how the whole thing went. Patrick J Pespas with the flying V had me going.penningtron wrote: Wed Aug 30, 2023 8:59 am Telemarketers on Max is good. And while it's a slight spoiler alert, as always: ACAB.

512So far, Season 3 of this show has been kinda disappointing. The Deer Lady episode was good, but the Dazed and Confused-inspired one almost bored me.losthighway wrote: Mon Apr 10, 2023 5:06 pm Season 2 of Reservation Dogs had higher highs and lower lows than season 1. There were some laugh out loud moments, some tears, some amusing surreal stuff and times where the show seemed to lose its sense of purpose.

513Sat down to watch episode 4 of the new season of much lambasted telly show "Billions" and hello, the opening track was by SHELLAC. Well, at least the opening few seconds anyway. "Dude Incredible".
It felt weird.

515Netflix
The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar, by Wes Anderson, based on the short story by Roald Dahl. Very stagy, but I enjoyed it greatly. Looking forward to the other three (The Swan, Poison, and The Ratcatcher).

517Started watching a dramatic supernatural series set in 1845 about a couple of Royal Navy ships getting frozen and stuck in the Arctic Ocean called The Terror. Two episodes in and so far it's pretty great.

519I have yet to see the series, but the late great Marcus Fjellström was working on the music for that when he passed.zircona1 wrote: Sun Oct 08, 2023 1:41 pmNever watched the show, but I read the book the show is based on, it's very good.rsmurphy wrote: Sun Oct 08, 2023 12:06 pm Started watching a dramatic supernatural series set in 1845 about a couple of Royal Navy ships getting frozen and stuck in the Arctic Ocean called The Terror. You might dig his work, Randall. Spooky electro-acoustic digital/analogue pieces:

520Thank you, FMs Zirconia and Jimmy. I'm always in the market for horror novels and spooky music, soon to pick-up Intercepts from TJ Payne, and the new record from Black to Comm.
