My wife and I were sitting on stools right at the rail at the top of the stairs. It was awesome being able to sit and chill through the show.

I was actually surprised be the vibes and how good everyone was holding down their medicine for the most part.

Loaned my hi-hat stand to Justin Bennet, touring drummer for My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, ohGr, and Skinny Puppy. Excellent show. The last time I saw TKK was in the early 90s so this was delightful evening of yelling out samples and dancing pretty hard.

My band Teal Stripe opened up for The Veldt in Arlington TX last year, and Mark Burgess showed up (one of the only people there, it was fucking dead that night), and he said that we rocked. I'm still doing good on validation since then.
Teal Stripe - heavy indie rock
Inverted Candles - antifascist blackmetal
Mirage Music Club - YMO worhip (let us score your indie game)
Service Model - we have Aphex Twin at home

That's awesome. Veldt is playing at my favorite club in LA next week. Problem is on the same night so is Skinny Puppy, who I saw in 1990; supposedly their last tour. Can't decide which one to go to just yet.

This is the band Spiritual Cramp from a month ago or so. Great *show* and great music.
