What you're alluding to is a real phenomenon. London, Rome and Washington sometimes orchestrate major world events. Blaming it on "the PNAC guys" is like blaming the water carrier for the football team's loss instead of the offensive coordinator. If you think Wolfowitz and Perle were calling the shots regarding the Iraq war, it's only in that low level sense.

Brothers, I tell you these things in advance so you will be prepared. Read John Calvin, Brock Hollett and James White, the theologian. Get a Bible (NRSV edition) and if you're new to the Bible, start with the Gospels of Matthew and John, especially the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew.

How is the church of Philadelphia saved from the hour of trial? Because we are prepared for these things, we'll not be fooled by the falling away and strong delusion described in 2 Thessalonians.

By the way, there is of course no pre-tribulation Rapture. All those complacent and ignorant Trump supporting Christians are in for a rude awakening when they realize they're not getting out of here on a magic carpet ride to heaven.
