Love to both of you. I’m not religious but I’m sending all the best vibes I can into the universe for the both of you.

I have my first tomorrow… yesterday they drilled a 2x30mm piece bone out my hip. Today I took 20 pills at once in a steroid bomb the annihilate the myeloma cells. This is day 7 of my diagnosis, holy hell the NHS is incredible when things get serious.

So tests, tests, tests.

No bone damage. Standard genetic risk profile, stable and improved kidney function.

As positive as I can hope for so far.

This will still kill me one day, but universe willing a long time from now.

Treatment starts in two weeks. Four months of low intensity therapy while they farm my Stem Cells. Then they’re going to hit me with a sledgehammer, destroying my immune system then rebuild it with my own Stems.

Then it’s hopefully years of maintenance.

I’m currently trying to build up my mental health robustness with reading about trauma coping and diving hard back into my meditation practice.


I think I better write and record an album as well… because the world needs more instrumental post-rock 😂

Man, you are in my thoughts, this is precisely what my (now) 73 year old Father in Law started about 6 years ago. He's currently no evidence of disease. And doing amazing, all things considered.
