Machine screws with t nuts inside or big fender washers and nyloc nuts. Wood screws just end up pulling out as soon as you hit some bumpy pavement.
2 excellent points. Nothing more frustrating than that wheel you forget about falling out.

And for the latter point I have had this happen with handles that were screwed in vs bolts. Was hefting a heavy 4x12 cabinet and the handle in my right hand literally ripped right out. It might be worth checking some of your amps & cabinets to see how they're mounted, especially they are particularly heavy and/or if your cabs are made with some version of MDF

Silkworm took a dolly on tour once we started traveling in a 15-pass van and had room.

Granted we had a Mesa 2x15 and two 4x12 half-stacks (later one 2x4x12 full stack) and big ole drums, not just a 2x12. But it was worth it.

More than one band made fun of it but ended up asking to use it after a few shows.
