Go have a nice day at the lake, take a ferry, go to the fortress etc.
Yep, I just made a final decision after seeing your post and also that Friedrichshafen has a zeppelin museum. The airship, not the band. :-)
Well.. heading that way now.

Every other person in Stuttgart must have had the same idea. This train is PACKED.

Have a lovely time! We made a short stop at Lake Constance back in 1997 during a Black Forest trip, it's nice. Spent some time in Konstanz and Meersburg (perhaps worth a ferry ride over there to see the fortress, if it's not too much for a single day).

Thanks! I did.

I ended up purchasing a ticket for one-day unlimited regional train rides in Baden-Wuerttemberg for 25 Euro. One hell of a deal. Tried to take advantage of it by visiting multiple cities including several on Lake Constance and also went to Triberg in the Black Forest. Started at 6 AM this morning and got back to the hotel around 9 PM.

It was great.

I am exhausted.

Not an incredibly popular destination, but Querétaro, Mexico, for a week around Thanksgiving. Have been there once before.

Would love recommendations for an excellent barbacoa place. And good regional Mexican restaurants, post-pandemic, in general. Plus any day trips that are less crowded than Bernal or San Miguel, but still worthwhile. Thanks.

I love and really miss that place but haven't been there for seven years or so (before the most recent crackdown occurred). Am a little afraid of how much it has changed since then. If you haven't been there before, Kowloon and Mong Kok in particular are awesome. I don't have a suggestion on noodles other than just about everywhere I went for them was awesome. I'd guess that every hole-in-the-wall noodle place without a recognizable name is probably better than one with a name.

Never been there but the company I work for just built a lab there and I will probably end up visiting there soon enough. Definitely am interested in your thoughts afterwards or thoughts of any others that have been there.
