Yeah... the guy's always been personally nice towards me (never did 'business' with him) and he still donates guitars to the PRF BBQs, but I've heard that same customer experience at least a dozen times by now.

I always do a reverse image search of the pics in the listing on Craigslist ads before committing to anything. Most of the ones that seem too good to be true, or nearly so, are scams and you'll find that the same image has been used in CL ads all over the country. Or has just been lifted from another online source. If the search comes back clean, it's still buyer beware but the scam is less likely.

Probably just needs refoam which isn't a ton of fun to do but it also could be loose phase plug which is less fun to try to repair but Dave Rat's got a video on how to do it.
