I know right??

Our building is being refurbed completely. We have well over 150 academic and professional staff plus goodness knows how many grad students and post docs, plus over 10,000 (really) undergrads - this is in compsci alone - growing at 20% per year as I write this. (We are bigger than every other school in the Faculty combined.) As part of the massive refurb - which will take five or six years to complete - we will almost certainly put in for an infrastructure grant for a proper audio recording space/studio.

This should get up. In comparison to the cost of engineering infrastructure across all of our R&D spaces, centres, hubs, labs, and other initiatives, audio stuff is relatively negligible. In all absolute seriousness, it will probably be the cheapest infrastructure grant request in our history!

Then the other day, completely unexpectedly, I stumbled upon this 1978 Greco Explorer in a local shop and it played so great that I had to grab it too. Needless to say, some other stuff will be going up for sale.
