…and the continuing resolution to keep the government open that was proposed by the GOP was almost unanimously supported by DEMOCRATS and evenly split the GOP. Again.

The GOP is NOT operating in lockstep. They are all kinds of fucked up and fractured right now.

The House GOP reps seem to be tensely split between people who think they'd better hurry up and show they can govern for once, and others who want to demonstrate their renewed commitment to burning it all down.

It's weird to see the far right "Jews in Zion will bring on the second coming according to Revelations" evangelists, and the "Jewish space lasers will not replace me" Neo-Nazis (ahem, Mr. Musk) both just kind of existing. I'm sure they must be crossing rhetorical swords in some backwater of the internet I don't want to go to, but it's surprising that it hasn't turned into a louder GOP congressional boxing match like so many other things have.

Mr Space Laser has already walked back his inflammatory comments with a complete about face, and he's now in lock-step with the agreed-upon agenda. Probably just a stunt to get a few subscribers. Nothing a evangelist loves more than a successful convert.

Man, people are so gullible. Like, how could someone on team Musk think a grown-ass adult is fully on board with a fringe theory that a powerful Jewish cabal is strategically replacing white Americans with an influx of POC in their plot for world domination, and then after talking about it with some people- the next day- doesn't think that at all anymore?
