Over the course of the last 24 hours, my feelings about my latest release, Torso, originally scheduled for release on my birthday, have unexpectedly changed from excitement and happiness to anguish and grief. I’m still proud of the compositions and the work I put into recording and putting everything together, and I want people to be able to listen to it and enjoy it and I don’t want it to go to waste or make any changes to it, but it’s really painful for reasons I don’t wish to elaborate on here or now. I’ve decided to just rip the bandaid off and release it early so I have one less thing weighing on me, and am going on a hiatus from music until I can recover. It will drop on Spotify and other streaming platforms on the 26th.
