Why did most people leave?

1
Most people left after I left. Now that I'm back people are making mean comments about me.

Do you all dislike me and want me to leave so you can come back?

If so I will. I don't have any real friends in real life and don't really know how to relate to people. If I did anything to make you guys hate me I apologize.

don't blame yourself. here's why they left:
  • got old/had kids/got a job
  • used to argue politics, until trump ruined everything and gave us nothing to fight about
  • chris hall
  • disappointment/didn't feel like starting a new account
  • they just wanted attention from steve
not saying you're popular or anything. but everyone who wants to avoid you knows how to do so.

You literally never left 😂

I’d frame things very differently. I doubt a single person left because of you.

A bit of tough love here, but this forum really isn’t “about you”, or anyone else for that matter. Making it about you in your head really isn’t healthy.

We post, interact and carry on with our days. I’ve been here for… twenty years 😬 to varying degrees of activity, met some people in person… others here have done amazing things with this space, creating community and Meat World events. But to hone it down to “about me”… that’s just not what this is.

Obviously as a community “we” try to be supportive, just look at the Fuck You Cancer thread, but I would say this cannot be a replacement for any real medical advice or therapy.

Just enjoy the community, but accept it’s not “about you”

+1

Even aside from saying he was going to leave but never doing so, some of FM InMySoul77's recent posts about Steve (here: https://premierrockforum.com/viewtopic. ... 23#p832723) are borderline-stalker-ish and make me hesitant to interact with him.

Fair enough guys. I'm just curious about why this place had a bunch of interaction when I was actively posting over the last few months, then I leave for a couple days and it seems like everyone made a mass exodus.

You guys swarmed me. Yesterday people were on here making mean allusions to crying over songs.

I don't think you ever liked me, you all were just screwing with me. You hang out on your Facebook page and decided to come here to mess with me.

I forgive you. But I think you should admit to the bullying you engaged in.

This.

To FM InMySoul77, no one here is taking you personally. Nor is anyone piling on or bullying. It really looks like you could do with some IRL help. I’d really consider carrying through on your “I Quit” post, booking some in personal therapy to work out what needs working out, then come back and talk about music etc.

A golden rule of this place is consensual interaction, at the moment you’re breaking that social contract with some of your posts.

People here are nice, but we are not qualified to help anyone suffering from mental health issues. You’re placing the community in a difficult spot of being supportive but not really able to help you. I’ve had my own MH issues and one of the hardest things is realising the world didn’t revolve around me, and that no one was “out to get me”. If you’re feeling that way I’d highly recommend immediately seeking assistance from a qualified therapist.
