I keep thinking how it would be cool if the slowest setting was a whole lot slower.
In the tremolo oscillator circuit there are three caps in series between the plate and the grid of the oscillator tube. Their values are 0.02uf, 0.01uf, and another 0.01uf. Replace either or both of the 0.01uf caps with a 0.02uf of the same voltage value. Just doing one will slow it down a bit, and doing both with slow it a bit more.
Of course, by doing this you'll be minimizing the maximum speed. However, if you're looking for slow, I don't think you'll miss the fastest setting.
