1482I love how Americans online call Europeans "europoors". The word sounds funny, but it also makes me feel appreciated when someone invents an insult specifically for me.

1483That’s a new one for me.. hadn’t heard that one before. I guess I don’t frequent places on the internet where I’d be privvy to that.kokorodoko wrote: Sun Jan 21, 2024 1:02 pm I love how Americans online call Europeans "europoors". 1484In a consciously aggressive attempt at eating healthy I've been using maple syrup. Lightly. I've never been much of a coffee drinker though so I'm not sure how that would work.

1488Good to know. It's like the swordfighting in Monkey Island. You fight like a dairy farmer!
Re: What are you thinking right this second?
1489i need to get my stuff together. we moved to a new city about a year and a half ago and i've just been working from home, working from home, working from home ever since. i don't know anyone here, i haven't found any scenes - i don't know how much i can afford to do that, anyway, something seems to be eating my personal finances alive - and i need a better plan for the next five years than "have the world's lowest-key midlife crisis while continuing to sit on the internet like a potato." was i ever going to actually go to a therapist? why don't i give that a try? whoof! i need to lose some of this weight if i ever want to play a big archtop guitar. am i any good at anything, really? is there any of that 0% guinness left?
i need more anchor points. reincarnation probably isn't real.

1490Never heard it either. I think I'll stick to where I frequent on the internet and hopefully avoid anywhere that is written.losthighway wrote: Sun Jan 21, 2024 3:42 pmNever heard it either.
