I see your point, but take into account that many post-punk bands were at their cores reggae bands. Maybe that is hyperbole but the influence of Jamaican music on Bauhaus is HUGE. Many Bauhaus songs are reggae tunes, and this is the best known of them.

I don't like that Slint song at all.
