The SCOTUS is now forced to consider the issue of 45's presidential immunity. They seem reluctant to wade in to the shit so I don't see why they can't say nothing. Leave it with the lower court ruling and avoid angering half the country either way?

Was thinking the same thing. SCOTUS deciding not to hear the appeal would be a better-case scenario (I won't say best-case.. that ship has sailed).
