The calling out of Islam over Christianity or Judaism is generally linked to the deadly violence attached to criticism and its somewhat unmodernised positions. Of course the other two can be just as bad but in the current context violence as a religious expression is relatively minor or contained.

Hitchens, for all his problems, didn’t put on kid gloves for non-Islam religions. I mean, the dude wrote The Missionary Position!
