Can't wait to hear your thoughts on it.
I have a long suffering Keeley signed Rat I got from some guy that I haven't been able to unseat. My bass setup is the complete opposite of guitar in that I never change anything and it always sounds great, but I just don't care about figuring out what the mods on this pedal are if I don't have to, but I would love to have an alternative in case something goes wrong. The fulltone bassdrive had been close, but it's also big and it says fulltone on it. Plus the yellow and green will look gross with my pink Balls sustain, another plus.

I'll run it into a couple tube heads, a gk400rb and 800rb see what clicks
I've been watching a lot of videos on the Blumes and it seems really versatile and not just for bass. But I gotta say, I watched the EQ demo video for Blumes where the dude played one of my favorite Unwound songs through a P Bass into an Ampeg and I was sold, cuz that is a sound I've been chasing for half my life. Also didn't hurt that he played some Crimson, too. I ended up picking one up for $80. I mean, how could I pass that up? It appears worth eating my own words for.
That makes me all the more happy and why I still like earthquaker

Here's a weird one...

A store in Lancaster, PA was selling a couple of Trace Elliot V-Type all-tube bass heads as non-functional for cheap last week. Those heads are somewhat rare and highly regarded, so I snagged both of them. They both said "amp from a worldwide touring band" in the description, but I didn't think much of it.

I went back through reverb's sold items history, and saw one of the heads had been sold a few months ago for a higher price, though it was advertised as working back then. Either way, it was still a deal. Here's the photo from the original listing:

OK, so maybe the amps work, maybe they don't. Sounds like this shop just wants to get rid of them.

So I got curious the next morning and tried to figure out who these amps belonged to. I figured they were likely local to where the shop was located in SE Pennsylvania.

Then I looked at the touring case in that photo above and it clicked.
Yep, Live was from southeastern Pennsylvania.
So I look up their bassist, and he was a Trace Elliot guy from way back and was known for using V-Type heads.

Then I find this Rolling Stone article from last year, and this follow-up article, and learn just how insane the whole situation with that band is. The first article also specifically names the music store I just bought these amps from as being owned by Live's guitarist.

And that's the story of how I bought Live's bass amps.

Land Devices HP-2

I have a Collins HP clone that I bought years ago, and while it sounds great, not having a power supply option plus the flipped jacks make it not super friendly for a board. I generally love what the Land Devices folks are doing and this particular HP-2 is yellow, which looks pretty good!

Tiptop Audio Happy Ending Kit

Sold off a bunch of my modular stuff (including that big ass case I had) but I still have a few modules around. This will let me set those up and screw it into my rack mount cabinet thing for easy set-up into my recording equipment. AND it doesn't take up any additional floor or desk space. Stoked!

If you don’t end up liking it as much it would be super easy to flip the jacks (no desoldering even needed). You could even add a 9-volt snap to boss style adapter and send it out the back without drilling anything since it’s a clamshell enclosure. Or you could drill the enclosure and add a permanent DC jack if that suits you. Also super easy to do.
