How about the hammering part, or is that just something intuitive you dive into?

This is great stuff! I didn't even know about the whole refurbished/modded cymbal community until the last year or two.

A friend up north is real into this and there's so many factors to take in. Thickness, shape, bell size (and shape), material, etc etc.

Seems like it's a slow path to pure madness.

Yeah. I'll probably never do it. However if one of youse gets good at it and starts producing stuff at Chris Jury prices I'll be very interested!
