Vedder and Weiland were pretty good vocalists when they didn’t yarl. But their yarling usually drives me nuts.
Aside from the slight deviation that I am a fan of AiC, this is almost exactly what I was going to type.

Not a fan of yarling, but of these, Staley was the least annoying at it.

EDIT: would think Axl Rose could be included in the ballot. I would not have voted for him, though.

Lots of yarlers surfaced during the post-grunge and nu-metal eras, but Eddie was the original. Not a fan, but a nice enough guy. Still, Staley was the least irritating.
We're headed for social anarchy when people start pissing on bookstores.

I'm glad Cornell isn't on the list - his singing is kind of uniquely great, which really struck me on relistening to that first Audioslave again album recently.
Vedder is top of this list. He has a genuinely great voice, he just used it for evil in the early years.
That Scott Stapp fellow shouldn't be dignified with inclusion.
