My spouse was told the pain/tightness their chest was anxiety for two months until a trip to the ER found a hoagie sized leukemia chest tumor
Yikes.. hope they are doing better these days (I know you occasionally post about them in the ‘cancer’ thread).
I had what I thought was a heart attack when I was on a business trip in China in 2016. Trip to ER there.. found nothing. Kept having similar attacks when I got home.. went to doctor, found nothing. Got really frustrated and tried to figure out what the hell I was doing to myself to cause the attacks. Never really found out for sure, but the attacks eventually stopped. Guessing it was dehydration-related, and then panic on top of that. Good times.

How common are publicly located defibrillators in the USA? Over here they’re reasonably common, I can’t think of any small village I’ve been in recently that hasn’t had one.
It varies. My workplace has several of them located in prominent places in the building. They are usually easy to find in stadiums, malls, and amusement parks. But other places, I don’t see them.. it’s also possible that they do exist but should be made more obvious.
