Last October I found a copy of The Futurist at the Reckless Records on Belmont going for $799. Would, but couldn't.
Who’s was it? 😬

It's going to be pretty hard to rank these, especially since I always bagged on Terraform but recently realized that I was a deeply flawed individual when I originally assessed it.
Ranking in terms of how much fun I've had listening during bike rides...

To All Trains
Excellent Italian Greyhound
At Action Park
1000 Hurts
Terraform
Dude, Incredible (even though it has a song about riding bikes)

This hasn't gotten that much traction lately, but I think those early 7" singles are a work of art. A friend of mine has ordered The Bird Is The Most Popular Finger for me in a physical form because I just have to have it as an art form. I don't have a turntable, but I just have to has it. It is fucking beautiful.
Nothing major here. Just a regular EU cock. I pull it out and there is beans all over my penis. Bean shells all over my penis...

Yeah it’s extremely cool. I remember popping the photo off the front and looking at everything on the key and being stoked it mentioned the New Zealand visa applications.

Not sure if polls are editable - if not someone please make a new thread.

I'm torn between At Action Park and To All Trains now. The latter is almost chilling in how it unintentionally works as an epitaph for FM Steve's career, but even outside of any real-world context it has my absolute favorite Shellac song in WSOD and is probably their most consistent effort front-to-back. However, AAP was my very first and still has the biggest amount of my favorite cuts of theirs.

Man, I wish they had played Boston while I was still in high school (around when I first came to these boards). That or came back to NYC within the past 3 years. :/

At Action Park isn’t my favorite, but I understand why it’s everyone else's. The flow of that thing is staggering. It really works from beginning to end as a cohesive whole that very few records are able to pull off. Plus, I like how “Idea of the North” predicts the little experimental flourishes that made 1000 Hurts so good. A Shellac record has been a Shellac record since the beginning and we are lucky to have been there for it.

Yeah that's where I'm at as well. A personal hangup is the Drop D-E-F based songs get a little too '90s for me sometimes (Wingwalker gets a pass) which they were done with by most of Terraform and everything after. Song of the Minerals still slaps, and I love the weird guitar of Pull the Cup.
