i love every record i’ve heard him record. Trans Am Futureworld, the first June of 44 record, Six Finger Satellite Law of Ruins. all sound great. all sound different.
Considering he's somewhat famous, documentation of his recording career/credits pre-dance music are kinda scant. He did some Turing Machine and Les Savy Fav records too.
AFAIK he mixed Futureworld (which is indeed a fantastic record, my favorite TA probably), but did not record it.

It's a game of "spot the reference", isn't it? Like the Stranger Things of music. I like "Beat Connection", but I don't feel good about it.

The biggest bummer to me was that it took Murphy away from recording bands and I think he was a great engineer.
