Re: Celebrity Crush
171Looks like Lyonne has had some work done. Still attractive but preferred her before.
Have you seen Slums of Beverly Hills (1998)? If not, highly recommend. Good film, excellent cast. Lyonne plays Alan Arkin's daughter.penningtron wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 10:16 am I recently saw a movie from 2015 with Lyonne in it (forgot the title, Judy Greer was in it too) and was struck by how child-like Lyonne still was at that time. Between that and Russian Doll she seemed to have a persona makeover in addition to a physical one. It's like she turned into a street-hardened chain smoker overnight.
Turns out I have. I was thinking the magic wand scene was from But I'm a Cheerleader but a quick image search shows it's from this film.enframed wrote: Wed Jun 26, 2024 10:36 am Have you seen Slums of Beverly Hills (1998)? I'm in the UK, and would have to take out a subscription to a channel to see it, so I haven't seen it.Charlie D wrote: Tue Jun 25, 2024 11:14 pm I'm pretty sure I don't have to tell you to check out Poker Face, right?

I got bored of Poker Face after a few episodes; it felt like an adult version of Scooby-Doo, which may be intentional. I fuckin HATED Scooby-Doo when I was younger.Curry Pervert wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2024 4:19 pmI'm in the UK, and would have to take out a subscription to a channel to see it, so I haven't seen it.Charlie D wrote: Tue Jun 25, 2024 11:14 pm I'm pretty sure I don't have to tell you to check out Poker Face, right?
I absolutely loved Russian Doll though.
Sounds like I'm not missing much then. Not a fan of Scooby Doo myself, gotta be one of the dumbest kids shows ever.enframed wrote: Thu Jun 27, 2024 5:29 pm I got bored of Poker Face after a few episodes; it felt like an adult version of Scooby-Doo, which may be intentional.
