Dude youtube's auto-captions are a superpower here. Never considered them before other than for laughs but as long as the speech is clear, even if fast, they do a really good job. And what's great about them is that you can then turn on auto-captions, then go to 'auto-translate' and choose your preferred language. It then translates the auto-captions into this language. And this works great too!

(Best thing is of course if the video has dedicated subtitles, which can also be auto-translated. But few do.)

This video - on the subject at hand - is an example. Fully comprehensible. Around 0:37~1:58 she talks about a familiar phenomenon - commanding a large vocabulary but being unable to put two words together. It can persist for years! Clearly there is some threshold that needs to be passed - I've never managed to figure out how exactly.

The only annoying thing is that if you want to switch between languages you have to go into the menu and scroll down every single time. You should be able to cache them.
