Fingers crossed in the UK today. For all of Labour’s many flaws seeing the back of the worst government in modern history will be a relief.

Yep, hoping for the best for you all. News sources in the US seem to think it’s going to be good news (but of course they have been wrong before).

I'm not voting for Biden, but what the Democrats represent.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, people are all fools and we're all fucked, etc, ok, I know - but that vote is still part of the plan.

Depends on your definition of good. Labour are in, that's pretty much guaranteed. However the leader is an authoritarian establishment plant. He has the Murdoch seal of approval. He has advisors from the last shitty labour govt and he and many of his cabinet take funding from private healthcare companies and other dodgy sources.
Oh, he was also a member of the trilateral commision, a group formed in the 70's because they thought there was "too much democracy" going on. Yes that's a quote.

This new Supreme Crap began when McConnell froze out Garland. Other than certain parts of the bible, not paying taxes and the 2nd Amendment every other part of life is just politics/gamesmanship to the right wing.

Plus I'm sure Trump had no clue who the people were he was told to nominate.

It'd be great to have a Democrat controlled Senate freeze out Trump's nominations for years.

I often find myself saying "What the Democrats?" too.
Hilarious between thoughts typo, and yet—too true.

After 2016's election there were many things I thought the Democrats would need to do in order to overcome the rising tide of fascism. They have done practically none of those things, and each year things get worse.
