If this election cycle and Donal Trump in particular have shown us is that our system has been absolutely fragile from day one and all it took was one asshole to just not have any decorum or respect for the process, which gave every other asshole in government permission to do whatever the fuck. Even the supreme court at this point is just making shit up and ignoring 248 years of precedent to justify their fucked up ideology and a good portion of the country really doesn't give a shit.
