On the right of the screen at the rally there is a woman in a white tank top wearing a black hat and sunglasses. You can see her plain as day. As soon as everyone behind Trump ducks she continues to record on her phone even lifting it up higher.

A few years ago I was caught in a drive-by shooting. I had just left work and was walking towards the train. It was a beautiful day and everybody was out shopping, walking dogs, etc. My Bloody Valentine was blaring in my headphones. There was a woman walking right ahead of me. We were on an incline and I couldn't fully see the road ahead but I did happen to notice the top of a car careening up said road with what looked like smoke billowing out of the window. It was gunsmoke. All of a sudden people started running, scrambling, it was chaos. The woman ahead of me was grazed by a bullet on her thigh. I helped her into the dog park to our left and as soon as it appeared we were out of danger began to render comfort and recollect just what in the fuck happened. It was then that I pulled out my phone (like everyone else) and called for help. The last thing on my mind, if it was ever on my mind, was to pull out my phone and record those terrifying seconds as they were happening.

This is all so weird and fucked, but I believe in wormholes and the CPD being partially involved in unsolved random shootings in urban areas so...

I can't stand Trump, in case that isn't clear, but I don't see how Time or any other outlet could choose a more suitable image to represent the defining event for their given issue. I'm not speaking about the content - haven't read it, have no idea of any leaning or subtext therein - purely what on earth else would make their cover.
