It’s interesting Obama implied that he wants an open convention…

I know Family Guy isn't necessarily popular here, but one quote will always ring true to me: "Lois, undecided voters are the biggest idiots on the planet."
Luckily in the UK last election we all agreed fuck the Tories.

My magic conspiracy 8-ball says without a doubt Bernie, AOC, and others have known for some time that Biden was leaving and have been out out in recent days putting up a front. They all knew! Some of them even had statements at the ready.

It's this game playing among other things that I really dislike.

So I guess this question is less relevant now since he stepped down but - half of my US twitter content the last weeks has been saying Biden is unfit and too old and an embarrassment and he will absolutely lose and nobody wants him and he should step down, the other half has been saying he's not unfit at all and he's being slandered and people still express support for him and he has enemies in the party + journalists who are trying to take him down...

What's going on over there, man?

These people wear crocs in public and stare at their phones in the middle of the street. I wouldn’t take their advice on what movie to watch tonight.

Biden is unfit to serve because it's become obvious his mind and body are in decline due to his age. People who claim unfairly that he is being bullied are corporatist agents of the state looking to uphold the status quo.

Trump is unfit to serve because he is a self-admitted sexual abuser who is also an adjudicated rapist and quite the felon.

I applaud Biden dropping out. Put somebody younger in the race. I would only vote for Biden as a "Not Trump" . Give the independents and moderate Republicans who hate Trump a choice other than another octogenarian. Push the Democratic ticket as something other than a cult of personality.
