Not sure about the overall impact of having Harris as the nominee instead of Biden, but I can tell you that my 18-year-old daughter and all her 18-year-old friends are (at least as of this moment) very excited to vote for Harris. They were previously considering either voting for a third-party or sitting out the election.

Debates could be interesting, now there's someone a bit more competent. The prosecutor vs the felon.

However, I suspect trump will now dodge any debate.

My sister is an AKA soror and those women are high-spirited to say the least.

She'll wipe the floor with orange man.

He won't debate her.
I don't think he will either. Would be nice to see though.

I’d heard of her. But yeah, she has a draw—definitely more of draw than she had four years ago.
What she has is open access to the millions of dollars in the Biden war chest and she's been pre-vetted by the donors. That's a pedigree that the DNC would never walk away from.

To be honest I’m pretty impressed how quickly the Dems got their shit together. Total unity.

Trump’s still posting about Biden. I really think he’ll be furious the news instantly moved on from the guy who missed.

What I am not interested in is witnessing the massive racial and misogynistic shitstorm that will continue to be levelled against her but now in more aggressive tones. I'm not a fan of her past or party, but but black women have always been under attack, and now that racists are even more emboldened it doesn't look good.

I'm also curious to see how her nomination would play in swing states.
